Working with Agile Six and Three Wire Systems, we submitted this sample project for GSA 18F BPA contractor approval.

I led the research, UX, and visual design efforts, collaborating closely with the team and grounding the entire project in human-centered design principles paired with an agile workflow.

For our submission, we set out to create a simple, fast, and intuitive interface that would help users quickly find information about their medications. We began by developing user personas and foundational wireframes that reflected the needs, behaviors, and motivations of our potential users.

UX Design

The next step was to design the two primary pages of the experience: the Search page and the Drug Information page. Our focus was to empower users with clear, reliable information about their medications without overwhelming them. Every design decision centered on creating a sense of comfort, confidence, and control—ensuring that users could easily search, understand, and act on the information presented.

Outcome

Over 20 companies were invited to submit projects for the GSA 18F BPA. Agile Six was one of only three companies selected as a certified contractor, opening the door for the company to enter the federal government space. Today, Agile Six has grown into a $60M company, partnering with organizations such as the Veterans Health Administration (VA) and other federal agencies.
